30″ X 40″ Oil Painting On Canvas Morning on the Wet Streets of Paris is a remarkable oil painting reminiscent of a beautiful Parisian day. It was created with a special technique using a palette knife . A palette knife is a blunt knife with a very flexible steel blade. Artists traditionally used them for mixing paints together to create new colors. This led to the discovery of the texture that palette knives create while applying oil to canvas. The technique can be traced back to the late 17th century and remains popular to this day!
